45 years of successful practice dedicated to equine reproduction and preserving valuable genetics through equine ICSI.
Equine ICSI, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, is a highly technical laboratory procedure that Dr Beck has learned from the ground up. Originally breeding mares on the farm from the back of his truck, he is now aspirating oocytes from mare follicles, injecting with one sperm cell, growing to embryos in the incubator for 9 days, then transferring them into the uterus of a recpient mare. The last 45 years have been an exciting evolution in equine reproduction.
